Hot Desk at the Farm

Looking for somewhere different to work? Need a break from your usual desk? Rent a co-working space in the 18th century farmhouse at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead.

For £40 per desk per day (+ VAT) you can expect:

• A desk space in a co-working office in a creative environment
• Available from 11am to 10pm Tuesday to Saturday
• Free WiFi
• Free parking and bike racks
• On site Café and Bar – for breaks or business meetings
• Access to tea and coffee making facilities
• 3 workstations available

This is a unique working environment, a place where you can network with other creatives.

There’s on site entertainment every day (cinema, gigs, comedy) and bookable meeting spaces including the atmospheric Long Barn which holds up to 80 people.

So if you need a break from your normal working day, become part of the vibrant community at Norden Farm.

Covid safety:
Our co-working spaces are located in the Farmhouse. So that the room can be sanitised between each use, the booking cut off for a Hot Desk is 9pm the night before.
Hand sanitiser stations can be found at each entrance to the building and at other points throughout the venue. Please use the sanitiser on arrival.

Make Silver Jewellery 1

Led by Janet Richardson.

Beginners learn techniques including sawing, filing, polishing, ring making, stone setting, texturing, doming and soldering, to make some beautiful jewellery. More experienced participants are taken forward with their skills.

Suitable for all levels of experience. Materials cost to tutor for 5 weeks £28 (approx).

Gentle Yoga

Led by Julie Potter

These classes are intended for all ages and abilities and levels of experience, although beginners are advised to attend the later class. We will practise traditional breathing techniques (pranayamas), general yoga postures (asanas) with some relaxation.

This is a blended class, taking place both in person at Norden Farm and online.

Participants to bring a blanket, a yoga/pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

Talking Tables
The screenings on Tues 14 Dec at 4.30pm and 8pm, and Tues 21 Dec 8pm are Talking Tables screenings. These events aim to bring people together in a relaxed environment to discuss films, share ideas and most importantly - to meet new people! It is particularly aimed at people coming to Norden Farm on their own, but all are welcome. To take part, simply book in to see the screening, then join the group in the foyer before and after the film.

This special show explores some of the jazz standards that have emerged from musicals along the decades, written by many of the greatest composers. Numbers from Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess. Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate, Roger’s & Harts Babes In Arms and Leonard Bernstein's On The Town and West Side Story will be among those featured.

The quartet will swing through some colourful new arrangements and medleys using the back catalogue of Ella Fitzgerald, Sara Vaughan, Anita O'Day Oscar Peterson as a point of reference.

Jo Harrop is an accomplished singer who is making big waves in the UK Jazz Scene. appearing at the Royal Albert Hall, The 606 club, Pizza Express Jazz Club, amongst many other respected venues. Having started out as a singer/songwriter, including writing a song for Acoustic Alchemy’s album, Radio Contact, which was featured on Courtney Pines, Jazz Crusade radio show, she was also a backing singer for several international stars, before establishing herself as a Jazz singer.
