The Museum of Marvellous Things

Welcome to The Museum of Marvellous Things, where the impossible can happen!

Discover stars in jars, catch moons like balloons, dance with Doo-Dahs in cages, sing with Noo-Nahs on stages. Because this is a museum like no other it’s made from the magic of your imagination and you get to bring it alive.

With giant puppets, songs, interactive storytelling, show stopping costumes, live original music and a chance to make your own special puppet. This is a fun-filled family show celebrating the magic of imagination and the power of creativity, based on the picture book by Kristina Stephenson, bestselling author and illustrator of Sir Charlie Stinky Socks. Meet sensible, serious Norbert Norris and wild, wonderful Tilly T. Pott, as they give you a sneak peek inside their amazing museum and ask YOU to fill it with magic!

Funky Monkeys

An energetic and creative music and movement class for babies and children under 5.

This fun and funky session uses lights, puppets, parachute, instruments and music to get your little ones moving!

Suitable for ages 9 months - 5 years.

Intermediate Yoga

Led by Julie Potter

This class is suited to those who have been practising for at least 6. My intention for this class is to move our practise forward, explore different avenues and approaches to the traditional postures. We will be aiming to be going deeper into awareness and noticing.

The yoga I teach is an evolution of over 20 years of practice and study, perhaps moving away from external evaluation of the postures and moving towards an internal sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential approach. Whilst looking at traditional Hatha Yoga postures and pranayamas, I will be encouraging fun and freedom within the traditional structure, whilst taking into our awareness fundamental anatomical and functional aspects required by our bodies for maximum wellbeing benefits.

Please bring a blanket, a Yoga / Pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

Norden Farm’s Daytime Choir

Led by Dr Marta Mathea Radwan

Norden Farm’s Daytime Choir is a fun, friendly, non-auditioned choir for everyone. We learn by ear, so you don’t need music experience. Our music ranges from gospel, world and jazz to pop and classical - anything that sounds great and is a joy to sing. Joining us is a great way to meet people and sing your stress away.

Dr Marta Mathea Radwan is an award-winning vocalist, composer and musical director. Heralding from Poland and with over 30 years' experience in musical performance, Marta conducts choirs around London, including: jazz group Alle Choir London, Offbeat a cappella community choirs in Acton and Richmond, and Singing for Fun groups at Brunel University London.

Mindfulness

Led by Kate Hughes

Join Kate Hughes of Kate Hughes Meditation for an hour of mindfulness, designed to promote calm and awareness.

During the session we will explore breathing techniques, different kinds of meditation, and various mindfulness exercises including some gentle movement (this can be adapted to suit all mobility levels).

No experience of meditation or mindfulness is required, and these sessions are suitable for you if you are an absolute beginner or have done some kind of mindfulness practice before.

Please wear comfortable clothing. The session will end with a relaxation exercise and you may wish to bring your own mat and blanket, although these will be provided.
