The Great British Take Off

Starring Jon Culshaw and Bill Dare from Radio 4’s Dead Ringers.

Comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw and legendary comedy producer Bill Dare come to Norden Farm for the first time following their sell-out tour earlier in the year.

Join us for an evening of unscripted, unrehearsed, spontaneous comedy and conversation as politicians, sports personalities and celebrities old and new are all up for a roasting. You, the audience, help choose which characters appear and what direction the show takes.

Jon reveals the secrets of mimicry, and shares stories of some of the fascinating characters that coloured his childhood in Lancashire and his early career. Together with Bill he also reveals some of the mishaps and mayhem of life behind the scenes in television and on the celebrity circuit.

WHY? With a few surprises for the general public of Maidenhead thrown in for good measure, The Great British Take Off is topical, satirical, anecdotal and highly entertaining; it's never the same show twice.

Matt Richardson / Slash

A lot has happened to Matt Richardson since his last tour in 2013. A lot of it is quite strange.

Most comedians hope to win accolades and make people laugh, very few end up with Heat Magazine’s Weird Crush trophy.

From interviewing millionaire dogs in LA, ghost hunting with Craig Revel Horwood and having his phone nicked by Kate Moss - it’s been an odd, but fun, few years.

Now Matt can finally tell people about it, as well as talking about everything else on his mind.

WHY? The host of Virgin Radio's Drive-time show, ITV2’s The Xtra Factor and Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live!

Ayesha Hazarika: State of the Nation

Ayesha Hazarika returns to Norden Farm by popular demand!

Politics, power and how we lost the plot.

Ayesha Hazarika, MBE, started her career as a stand-up comedian playing clubs across the country. She then took what she thought was a natural diversion into the Labour Party as a Special Adviser working for Gordon Brown, Harriet Harman and Ed Miliband.

Since leaving front line politics she’s become a much sought after commentator writing for the FT, Guardian, Evening Standard, New Statesman and Grazia.

Ayesha has also returned to her stand-up roots. Her one woman show Tales from the Pink Bus was a sell-out hit at the 2016 Edinburgh festival and she's been in huge demand on TV and radio recently starring as a guest on Matt Forde’s Unspun for Dave.

Ayesha lifts the lid on what life’s really like behind the scenes at Westminster with brutal honesty and humour and asks what's next for British politics.

The State of the Nation is one of the best things to come out of British politics in a long time.

'Hazarika’s return to stand up is also public service, never less than entertaining' The Guardian
