Documentary taking viewers on a breathtaking journey showing there is nowhere more vital for our survival, more full of life, wonder, or surprise, than the ocean.
The celebrated broadcaster and filmmaker reveals how his lifetime has coincided with the great age of ocean discovery. Through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean, Attenborough shares why a healthy ocean keeps the entire planet stable and flourishing.
Stunning, immersive cinematography showcases the wonder of life under the seas and exposes the realities and challenges facing our ocean as never-before-seen, from destructive fishing techniques to mass coral reef bleaching. Yet the story is one of optimism, with Attenborough pointing to inspirational stories from around the world to deliver his greatest message: the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen.
Following the film, exclusively in cinemas, A Deeper Dive with David Attenborough takes audiences behind the scenes with additional footage and interviews on the making of Ocean.

The Last Musician of Auschwitz tells the extraordinary story of cellist Anita Lasker-Wallfisch who played and created music amidst the terrors of the Holocaust.
Now 99 year’s old, Lasker-Wallfisch, the only living survivor to have played in one of the Auschwitz orchestras, reflects on her experience in an intimate and moving interview that frames the documentary.
The film also highlights the stories of three other musicians from across Europe - whose powerful performances explore themes of loss, longing and cultural memory, while addressing head on the barbaric realities of the Nazi regime at its most notorious death camp.
The film reflects on the power of music amidst War, a note of defiance and hope in the face of pain and degradation.

English and Norwegian with English subtitles.
In this Sundance-selected documentary, Englishman Nik and his Norwegian wife Maria attempt to forge a new life on a farm in her homeland’s lush woodlands. Their goal is to live sustainably, putting as little strain upon the planet as possible. But when the family suffers a tragedy, Nik’s resolve to continue on this singular mission is severely challenged and the ‘normal’ world comes knocking. Can they maintain some version of this idyll or is it a paradise out of reach?
Full of the complexities and inescapable truths of real life, A New Kind of Wilderness is not just a heartbreaking portrait of family endurance but also a breathtaking trip into the natural world. The kind of surprising, intimate and honest documentary portrait that can only emerge over years of hard-won access, it’s a story for anyone who wants to (re)discover the power of family and think about different ways of striding this Earth.

In this fun, one day workshop you will learn how to create a seascape or a landscape using the unique art form of needle felting. You will learn about compositions and how to layer and blend the wool to create a tranquil scene and there will be plenty of demonstrations and hands on assistance. I must warn you that this technique is addictive!
Rebecca will start by introducing needle felting, it’s history and explaining the qualities of the wool. Before you get started, you will be taught how to blend colours and be shown how to apply the wool in certain ways to create different techniques.
The image you work from, is just the starting point, as your piece will naturally develop and change slightly as you work with the wool, so don’t worry if you don’t have a specific image to work from. You might like to bring a photo, for example, a sunset or sunrise or perhaps something you have captured on holiday or in a special place.
If you want to, you could develop your felted piece by adding texture and interest with colourful strips of fabric and lace and you can add sewn details through hand sewing and free machine embroidery, on your sewing machine.
A shadow box frame of 18 x 18 cm is included in the workshop and additional frames can be bought on the day.
Please be aware that the technique is fairly repetitive so may not be suitable for people with back / neck pain.
What to bring:
- Seascape scenes and / or landscape images to work from (Rebecca will provide lots of images you can use)
- Materials for embellishments, e.g. buttons, strips of hessian, lace, string, strips of fabric (optional)
- Embroidery needles and thread (colours suitable to your image) (optional)

Based on the profound true story of husband and wife, Raynor and Moth Winn’s 630-mile trek along the beautiful but rugged Cornish, Devon and Dorset coastline. Starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs.
After being forcibly removed from their home, they make the desperate decision to walk in the hope that, in nature, they will find solace and a sense of acceptance. With depleted resources, only a tent and some essentials between them, every step along the path is a testament to their growing strength and determination.
The Salt Path is a journey that is exhilarating, challenging and liberating in equal measure.
A portrayal of home, how it can be lost and rediscovered in the most unexpected ways.

Align and Flow Yoga is influenced by the biomechanics and heart orientated philosophy of the Anusara Hatha style of yoga. With a specific alignment focus within the flow of postures the practice will tone and strengthen the body, improve posture and create more freedom in the body and mind resulting in a calm and relaxed state of being.
Each week there will be a different theme weaving its’ way through the session, but a typical class starts with breathing techniques to centre and ground, poses to warm up and then progresses to a fun and challenging mix of vinyasa and alignment yoga.
This class is designed to cultivate focus, stamina, strength, and flexibility. Leaving time at the end for a well-deserved relaxation.
Come prepared for an energising class that will also leave you feeling relaxed.
