Sunday Stories - Spoken Word Special!

Presented by Norden Farm and Simon Mole, supported by Apples and Snakes.

Poet, Simon Mole is taking over our Sunday Stories slot with a spoken word special! Expect poems about ninja skeletons, raps about pug dogs playing football, stories about boys who meet Pacman and girls who can’t stop drumming. With special guest, singer-songwriter, Gecko (Glastonbury, Bestival and BBC Radio 1).

Age guidance 4 - 11 years.

£3 per person.

Gecko is a North London based artist. He has previously appeared at Glastonbury, Bestival and BBC Radio 1. He's shared stages with the likes of Josie Long, Robin Ince, John Hegley, Beans on Toast and Billy Bragg. He returned to the Edinburgh Fringe this year with his second hour No Rest for the Lizard and will release his debut album 'Volcano' this Autumn.

Simon Mole was the first Poet Laureate for the London borough of Brent, and is a member of the acclaimed poetry collective Chill Pill. Since becoming a father Simon has written increasingly for young people, and his first play for children and families was commissioned by the V&A in 2016; Friends For All is touring with Half Moon Theatre.
