You Choose

You Choose – Every show is unique!

Based on the brilliant book by Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt, Nonsense Room Productions (Shark in the Park and Hairy Maclary Shows) bring you an interactive musical show for all the family. But in this show – YOU CHOOSE what happens!

Using the picture book as inspiration and through a series of games and challenges each show will be unique with different characters, locations, costumes and much more every time!

'It’s all as entertainingly random as the book, particularly for those younger people in attendance. The manner in which they go about the choosing is joyous, inviting young volunteers from the audience to pick a character' The List

'Quite simply, it's fun, it's funny, it appears a simple format but is actually clever; it's a great family show' Lothian Life

'There is plenty of choice and bundles of energy at Nonsense Room Productions’ adaptation of the children’s picture book, You Choose' All Edinburgh Theatre

Puffling Percy

Percy is a puffling who loves his burrow a little too much.

Map and Pap want him to venture outside and flap his wings, but Percy has other ideas. What the puffling doesn’t realise, however, is that his entire flock are about to migrate south for the winter. If he doesn’t learn to fly, he will be left behind and his life will be in mortal danger!

Along comes a fearless field-mouse called Shrimp, whose brimming self-confidence makes Percy feel braver. Together, the unlikely pals take off on a perilous adventure that requires every ounce of courage they’ve got. How will he find his way back home? Will Percy ever see his Map and Pap again?

An uplifting children’s show about friendship, overcoming self-doubt and trusting your own instincts. With original music and songs by Harriette Ashcroft (Mrs H and the Singalong Band), magical puppetry and a heart warming story, Puffling Percy is bound to shake you by your tail-feathers and lift you up, up & away!
