Firelight Trio is a mighty new group featuring Fatea instrumentalist of the year 2023 Gavin Marwick (fiddle), accordionist Phil Alexander (Moishe’s Bagel) and Ruth Morris (Outlander – HBO) on the beautiful Swedish Nyckelharpa.
They play European music that is evocative, inventive and endlessly exciting. Ruth’s resonant nyckelharpa is matched by Gavin’s powerhouse fiddle, all backed up by Phil’s groovily inventive accordion and piano. A rich tapestry of lively Swedish polskas and Scottish reels, lilting French waltzes, toe-tapping klezmer, dazzling original tunes and more. Don't miss them!

The Last Musician of Auschwitz tells the extraordinary story of cellist Anita Lasker-Wallfisch who played and created music amidst the terrors of the Holocaust.
Now 99 year’s old, Lasker-Wallfisch, the only living survivor to have played in one of the Auschwitz orchestras, reflects on her experience in an intimate and moving interview that frames the documentary.
The film also highlights the stories of three other musicians from across Europe - whose powerful performances explore themes of loss, longing and cultural memory, while addressing head on the barbaric realities of the Nazi regime at its most notorious death camp.
The film reflects on the power of music amidst War, a note of defiance and hope in the face of pain and degradation.

John Kelly (guitar)
Mark Elton (bass)
Feeling all strung out? Life in a spin? Well then, let the dreamy music of George Washingmachine wash away the dust of everyday life.
A master showman whether playing toe-tapping jazz, soulful blues, or uplifting melodies, when it comes to knuckle-busting feats on a violin, George doesn’t play second fiddle to anyone! From Sydney, George Washingmachine is a captivating old school entertainer - he’s a violinist who sings, a blues guitarist, and a visual artist. During that time the band that launched British folk-rock has seen many changes, but one thing has remained the same - Fairport’s passion for performance.
This year’s Autumn Tour will present a mix of long established Fairport favourites and some surprises from albums old and new. Fairport Convention have won a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award and Radio 2 listeners voted their ground-breaking album Liege and Lief - the most influential Folk album of all time. Their story has been celebrated with television documentaries on BBC Four and Sky Arts.
The band features founding member Simon Nicol on guitar and vocals, Dave Pegg on bass guitar and vocals, Ric Sanders on violin, Chris Leslie on bouzouki, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, and vocals.
'Stuffing their set with a surprising amount of new material for a vintage act, Fairport are still clearly having fun and brought the house down' The Guardian
'Fairport is an institution, a festival, purveyors of memories, and keepers of the folk flame. But most of all they are a brilliant live band' Folk & Tumble

An expansive and revelatory inside look at John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s life in Greenwich Village in the early 1970s. The film brings to life electrifying, never-before-seen material and newly restored footage of John and Yoko’s only full-length concert.
Featuring mind-blowing music newly remixed and produced by Sean Ono Lennon, the film is a seismic revelation that will challenge pre-existing notions of the iconic couple.
